Jennifer Novelli

Jennifer Novelli grew up on the coast of Maine, Cape Elizabeth and Boothbay Harbor and currently resides in Dover, New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of Maine with her BA in Studio Art in painting. She worked several years as a graphic designer for a newspaper and then chose to be an at home mom.   

Jen and her husband Mike have been married for thirty-five years, have moved over 12 times, including international destinations like Thailand and Scotland, and have 3 children.

As her children grew, she started finding more time for creativity. In 2013, she completed an adult certificate in Photography at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Photography became a way to create and share her experiences. 

In 2015, she once again rekindled her love of painting. She began taking classes with Mary Byron, a gifted plein air artist based in the Maine seacoast. “She has taught me so much and drives me to strive harder. I love getting lost in a painting and once again sharing my vision.”

Plein air painting combines all of Jennifer’s favorite things – the love of being outdoors and creating her own interpretation of that love.
